I"m a country music songwriter with goals to be with a bigger publisher. I've written many songs that are now sung by many local bands around the South Florida and Nashville area. I've written with Janet Goodman, Bill Maier, Jessi MacNamera, Carmen Taylor, Paul Hadin, Tom Jackson, Elizabeth Colton, Darrik Stuart, and many others. I have to raise money for demo recording, copyrights, Misc. fees and etc. Any contribution would help. Hi George!
For me inactivity means that I don't see a sign of the artist for over 3 months, i.e. no profile update, no PM or message and no post in the forum.
Many artist belive that if they have good music, they can simply upload 3 songs and success comes from itself. In the last year I saw many good artists dissapear here on sellaband. Look at SolidTube for example they've done nothing from Nov06 to April07 and had almost no parts & belivers. Then they started with regular activity, seeked contact with their belivers and potential belivers, blogged, wrote in the forum, etc. Look what they have reached by now. I know of course that it consumes a lot of time and not everbody has it, but this is the way the SAB community works.
If I have done you wrong, please leave a message again and I will come back to you in December (when I have new funds available).

Howdy!
Just wanted to pop in and give you a heads up on Sommersby's October Competition!
If you haven't already heard, the competition (hot on the heels of his recent neck-in-neck September fiesta) will offer 20 parts for the winner and is open to all artists that have between $9999 and $0 in budget.
Please check the forum for updates on contest rules and regs….starts 25 October!
This is a great opportunity for you. Campaign with the believers to let them know you'd like to be nominated and encourage them to vote for you when the time comes.
Of course, if you'd like to, or you know someone who would like to, donate parts for the prizes in the Competition, just send (or have them send) Sommersby the details under a message marked “October Donation."

As someone addicted to driving through the US every year just for fun, your songs giving me the wanderlust to start again immideately. Great country songs!
