Band formed in Roanne (France), September 2005:
Damien Abad (lead electric guitars)
Benoît Bel (sound engineer, keyboards...)
Romain Garcia (bass)
Nicolas Souchko (piano, keyboards, lapsteel, guitar)
Maxime Vavasseur (vocals, electric & acoustic guitars, keyboards...)
Mathias Villard (drums)

The band formed while recording their first album, the self-produced "Pray for a light to come in" on which they spent 4 months of working, recording, editing, mixing in an abandoned wing of a french 16th-century castle and in an tiny little dusty chapel...
Then it was mastered in Montreal, Quebec by Harris Newman (Triple Burner, Hrsta), who also worked with Silver Mount Zion, Do Make Say Think, Wolf Eyes, Polmo Polpo, Thalia Zedek, etc...

"Pray for a light to come in" was self-released in 2006, on November 25...

Since then, the band is touring, and is already working on nearly 30 songs for a more thoughtful and powerful follow-up...

So sorry to remove my 1 part. I have to streamline my parts to be fair to more active bands

Howdy!

Just wanted to pop in and give you a heads up on Sommersby's October Competition!

If you haven't already heard, the competition (hot on the heels of his recent neck-in-neck September fiesta) will offer 20 parts for the winner and is open to all artists that have $9999 or less in budget on 25 October.

This is a great opportunity for you. Let all your believers know you'd like to be nominated and encourage them to vote for you when the time comes.

Of course, if you'd like to, or you know someone who would like to, donate parts for the prizes in the Competition, just send (or have them send) Sommersby the details under a message marked “October Donation."

Hope you join in on the fun and GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!!!
