HAZEL was formed in 2003 by a Polish singer and songwriter - Joan
Wisniewka /aka Hazel/. She composes, produces, programmes and performes
her songs as well as she writes lyrics, plays guitar and
piano/keyboards.
Her self-titled "Beauty Loves Aggression" CD is a demo recorded at her home studio in Warsaw, Poland. So far no official album has been released, yet. However Hazel is always open and eager to work with any label willing to promote and release her music.
Many bands and artists such as: Nine Inch Nails, Jeff Buckley, Graeme Revell, Marilyn Manson, Tool, A perfect Circle, Hole, Jane Siberry, Crash Test Dummies have contributed to the sound and form of Hazel's music and have been a great source of inspiration for many years.

Your music gives definition to life. Through the arrangement with a vast and complex diversion of sound and passion it's truly something that you do with every creation, leaving the heart and mind yearning for more. Life needs so much more color and passion in it these days and very few things out there have the capability to provoke such feelings! Every time I listen to a few words of yours, or a certain way you say a phrase, or even the slightest change in key, reminds me that there is always something more out there to be explored or understood.
Your music brings color to my life and in turn, my life simply keeps bringing me back to you. This symbiosis that has developed is a warm and inviting thing. Just Like the privilege of knowing you. Happiness without end, Life with new meaning, music with a purpose, and a person with a dream. You give the world that purpose with your art truly. It's flattering to be a part of your world. :)

of the most creative and endearing artists I have had the pleasure of
listening to in the longest time! Her personality and vitality truly
shines through in her music giving it a very real and very passionate
appeal. Many artists, signed and unsigned simply play and do what they are told for sake of the money but truly not this woman! She is setting her own standard and raising the bar for others out there that might need an inspiration or two!
