Hazy Jane was born and raised about 4 years ago.
In those years the four members of Hazy Jane created their own sound; Songs with a pop/folky feel, melodic, harmonic; songs that can make you fly but can also put you back safely on the ground.
The unique, spherical, sometimes spooky vocals are the signature of the music of Hazy Jane.
After recording a demo and a EP, which were received well by fans and media, Hazy Jane went to the States to work with producer John Morand (Cracker, Sparklehorse) and record their full-lenght album "Generations".
This cd will be released October 2008.
Performing live is where the songs are really allowed to shine through. Constantly expending and evolving according to the ever growing musical vision. With a sonic landscape consisting of haunting and vulnerable songs,
Hazy Jane already surprised many listeners…..

Just wanted to pop in and give you a heads up on Sommersby's October Competition!
If you haven't already heard, the competition (hot on the heels of his recent neck-in-neck September fiesta) will offer 20 parts for the winner and is open to all artists that have between $9999 and $0 in budget.
Please check the forum for updates on contest rules and regs….starts 25 October!
This is a great opportunity for you. Campaign with the believers to let them know you'd like to be nominated and encourage them to vote for you when the time comes.
