I’m only goin’ off on tour in Holland again aren’t I!!!

I’ll get touring trench foot at this rate! I feel like the Beatles must have felt when they were out there in Hamburg all them years ago a-polishing up their craft. Only hopefully I won’t go on to having a messy public divorce with a greedy-peg-legging-mental-witch with a Heathery penchant for sobbing fraudulently on national TV and millions of pounds of other people’s money-cash-dollar! 

So kids and parental guiders alike… I’m touring with a fantabulous singer and close friend of mine called Yamit Mamo. A huge voice and a warm heart to boot, oooh give her a squeeze. The first time I ever went to Holland was with Yamit and her band when I came second place to her in a song-writing competition between two universities about seven years ago. As I had to suffer the humiliation of coming second place to her then, I have now cunningly coaxed her back to the scene of this heinous crime so’s I can bump her off good and proper by pushing her into a picturesque canal scene. Drownded!!!

Not really. I love her.

So it’s a hit-packed fun-filled few weeks of team building in the flatlands of Ducthieo-world baby! Army style imprecision, holding drunken conversations with the indigenous Heron population, a couple of rounds of the screaming Dia-horria-hi-heys after eating the ming from roadside services!  All topped off at the rear end of the sessions with some and far too many lots of Amstells! A night out on the tiles with whoever wants to come join.

YES YES! There will be a post tour party in Amsterdam with all the crew, close friends, family and fans… so if there’s anyone who would care to join, get right on in touch!

This is a big old Dutch warm up session ready for the US/Canada tour coming up in June where I’ll be playing the world famous NXNE in Toronto and The Living Rooms in NY amongst other grand and wondrous venues of wonderment and grandeur. (I’m rather excited about all this and whenever I think about it, a little bit of wee comes out my no-no place.)

Ooops!!!

Nobody can stop us now people… the pendulum is in motion, the movement is marching forth, all be it with odd socks on... but at least its forwards kids, at least its forwards.
