In Perpetuum had its genesis in 2002, in Conselheiro Lafaiete/MG (Brazil). In a short
time, they released a shy debut Demo-CD, "Unknown Fear" (2003),
that helped the band to increase its musical matureness and professionalism.
The results were quickly confirmed in the second work "Dead As Me" (2004 - mastered by Jefferson Brito, ex-Silent Cry), widely promoted in the whole country, reaching always positive reviews and allowing them to play in many underground festivals. When everything seemed to be well, the band needed to enter in a pause for 14 months, without any rehearsal in this period.
Reorganized, In Perpetuum announced its return, in a very special manner: as opening-acts for After Forever in Belo Horizonte city, in a historical opportunity. In this new phase, a better sonority was also noticed, mixing Dark, Black and Gothic Metal in a dense and extreme way.
The current line-up, Greice Lima (vocals), Alexandre Resende (bass/vocals), Janderson Santos (guitars), Diogo Ferreira (keyboard) and J. Luís (drums), prepares to release a new work, and had just inaugurated their MySpace account, with four new songs available for streaming.

Howdy!
Just wanted to pop in and give you a heads up on Sommersby's October Competition!
If you haven't already heard, the competition (hot on the heels of his recent neck-in-neck September fiesta) will offer 20 parts for the winner and is open to all artists that have between $9999 and $0 in budget.
Please check the forum for updates on contest rules and regs….starts 25 October!
This is a great opportunity for you. Campaign with the believers to let them know you'd like to be nominated and encourage them to vote for you when the time comes.
Of course, if you'd like to, or you know someone who would like to, donate parts for the prizes in the Competition, just send (or have them send) Sommersby the details under a message marked “October Donation."
