Jah Bird_

Now living in the Netherlands in exile and after all the quandary he faced in Europe, Jah Bird still pursues his faith and the passion for reggae music with even greater love. In Enschede (east Holland) Jah Bird used to work with group of refugees musically and in theater by the name ‘survivals’ , they performed in many states in the country encouraging and entertaining refugees, that were being ill-treated by the government. At this time he played the bass and rhythm guitar. Even though he did it with commitment and compassion, he kept his eyes open for roots reggae group. Jah Bird used to visit a record shop regularly, run by DJ Sultan (Herb-a-lize-it sound). There he found out about couple of young men who were trying to put together a band and that they needed lead vocalist.

Now Jah Bird is the lead vocalist and guitarist of Roots Creation- roots reggae band. Through this band Jah Bird came in touch with musicians and producers, which he still works with great pleasure. Jah Bird records regularly, at the studio of Red Stepper , producer/bass player of Roots creation and close friend. Jah Bird had opportunities to visit Dub Creator and sister Nadia at his studio.

The first introduction of his studio recording with Dub Creator is released on Asaiah Records in mid 2007 with title 'LET THE HEALING BEGIN' accompanied with the Dub version.

Through his music Jah Bird tries to brings knowledge, understanding and love of Rastafari.
