Alex is clearly someone who can write great songs and he is clearly someone who would benefit from the opportunity of working with a great producer in a good studio. I urge you to believe. I think Mars and Back, with a bit of reshaping could be an amazing amazing recording. |

Thank you Mazzarak for the intro. I was profoundly tired late at night when I finally listened, but was immediately shaken awake by some really involving and beautifully arranged songs. The reflective Eliot's Song (my favourite at first hearing) reminds me of the liquid and pure expressive tones and tunes of the young Peter Hammill. Possible single A Girl With A Crush rocks out, yet with genuine emotion, and finally the restrained and delicate Happiness is Mine "soars quietly", if that is possible. This is one talented guy, for sure. Damn him. |
