March 25, 2008: The new full length album is OUT NOW!
Melodic chillout electronica with dreampop, shoegaze and postrock influences. A blend of ambient electronica and structures, melodies, and rhythms. A connection between the elongated ambience of Boards of Canada and the guitar-sourced drones and sweeps of My Bloody Valentine and Slowdive. Echoing chords, playful melodies and lush, warm sounds. “This Is Where We’ll End” is enchanting and epic…

Order a high quality direct download or CD in the japjap.net shop.

March 02, 2008: New Jap Jap album!

The EP that was planned for a release on Ronin Collective is cancelled as Ronin Collective suddenly seized to exist: Labelowner Vince pulled the plug… The good news is that the EP has evolved to a full length album with 12 great new tracks! The album “This Is Where We’ll End” will be released on Dutch online distributor DJTRX. The releasedate is set for the 25th of march. The album features vocals from Lonneke (NL), the chapman stick by Fucisticko (IT) and a remix by the talented Morgenfish (NL). The track “All For You” was inspired by a track written by good friend and fan Anto Dudgeon (UK). So… stay tuned, the waiting is almost over! Listen to previews from the tracks in the releases section!

Hi dear Jap...I need you...I really need you now...I´m not asking you to invest money on me. In a few hours, it finishes the 3rd round of the Sommersby October's competition, so I need your help now... It would only takes 3 minutes of your time, and it would be sooo important to me... You only have to go here: http://www.sellaband.com/believer/phil-davy/send_a_mail.html and write: I vote for Gisel and ...... (it must be ONLY ONE of the following artists: N'Kenge, Angie, Lu-Li, Bonnie or Snelle Fellas) (per example: I vote for Gisel and N´kenge) But you have to write 2 names, because if you only vote for one artist, your vote won´t count... So please, I know you that can think that if you don´t vote, it won´t matter so much, but, it matters...In last round there was a tie, so one vote really count. Thank you so much in advance.. I hope you help me... kisses, Gisel

Howdy! Just wanted to pop in and give you a heads up on Sommersby's October Competition! If you haven't already heard, the competition (hot on the heels of his recent neck-in-neck September fiesta) will offer 20 parts for the winner and is open to all artists that have $9999 or less in budget on 25 October. This is a great opportunity for you. Let all your believers know you'd like to be nominated and encourage them to vote for you when the time comes. Of course, if you'd like to, or you know someone who would like to, donate to the prizes in the Competition, just send (or have them send) Sommersby the details under a message marked “October Donation." Hope you join in on the fun and GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!!!
