Biography:
A singer, songwriter, a diamond in the ruff. With just a few notes, she has amazed audiences everywhere. From Europe to America she has captivated listeners that have had the privilege of hearing her and/or seeing her live. Her passion is undeniable, her focus is immutable and her goal is to take the industry by storm.
Born in the small town of Ozark, Alabama Jen grew up in a home filled with song. Her mother a singer encouraged Jen constantly. Her father an Army pilot whose career often times forced the family to relocate from state to state causing her to rely on song as the only constant in her life. Moving from San Diego to Germany arriving finally at her mother’s hometown of Sundsvall, Sweden, Jennifer settled there and developed her musical and acting talents.
Being involved in the music business through her mother’s endeavors prepared Jennifer for her unofficial entrance into recording and performing records of her own. A chance meeting with local music producers in her hometown presented opportunities to record original material, ultimately perfecting Jennifer’s studio recording ability.
Seizing every opportunity she could and inevitably exploiting every musical situation, she decided to take a chance on returning back to the States. On February 2004 Jennifer arrived in New York City. New York was the city of her dreams and living in Harlem created a strong synergy of soul and culture that it influenced her to audition at the world famous Apollo Theater. The overwhelming response and inspiration was unimaginable. She decided to move across the country to Washington State where most of her family is. New York has been a great place for Jennifer to grow but there is no place like Seattle.
Months of dedication, tears, joy, laughter, pain, frustration and triumph resulted in a project that will be embraced by millions of people that can relate to genuine artistry. The Swedish – American bombshell is a breath of fresh air ready to make her mark on the world. Presenting to you; a singer, songwriter a diamond in the ruff: Jennifer Newberry.
Musical Experience:
1999 Jen recorded her first song "Summer Attraction" written and performed by Jen in Sweden. From 1999 to the present, Jen has written, co-written & produced over 35 songs.

This is my first blog here on sellaband.
I just felt like I needed to write something about who I am and what I am about. I have a gole in life and that is to making this world a little better each and every day. People might think that that is impossible and I am going in head over heals. But you can do small things to make a difference. It can be a smile, just a smile can brighten up someones day. I try to treat the one next to me like I want to be treated and I think that goes a long way. Just for starters anyway.
I might be small here on earth but that doesn't mean that something good can start from me passing it forward. That is why I love music beacuse I can use it to pass a message, sharing my experience and thoughts and maybe inspire someone to feel better about them self or maybe even make them a better person.
I believe that confidence can make a person very successful in every aspects of their life. A confidence to be who you are and use the tools that you have to become who you are without fear of what anybody says. Persuing your dream and become successful.
I'm just a girl with big dreams and I just want to share them with you.
