CHECK OUT
Singing along side her mother 60's musical artist Melanie ("Brand New Key," "Lay Down," "Beautiful People") she has performed on stage since age five and seen the magic of a worldwide fan base. Her family life heirloom, her voice, and songwriting ability, is her passion & sharing it with an audience, her life. She's set out to do just that.
Jeordie has since performed at festivals, state fairs and arenas of all different sizes including "The Kerrville Folk Festival Texas, "A Day In The Garden Woodstock Reunion 1998", as well as "The Winnipeg Folk Fest, Canada". She has also performed as a support act for Dido, Jewel, Indigo Girls, and Sade and recently Capitol Recording artist OK GO.
Jeordie has collaborated with her siblings brother Beau Jarred, & sister Leilah on several projects over the years, as well as self-releasing her freshman, fully produced album, "Can I Ask You Something" which was received with great enthusiasm and has continued to sell despite the independent nature of the release. Jeordie recently compiled a collection of live recordings entitled "Jeordie Bootlegs", that encompasses some of her best live recordings performed, through out the past five years in AZ. She is currently working on a Sophomore full length production recording, with producer, engineer friends and musicians due to be complete next year 08'
Her sound is a blend of female fronted folk/pop with influences that ranging across the board, but consistently creates visual imagery, through her lyrics, melodies and performances.
Submerged into the Southwest music scene, Jeordie formed a duo with lead guitarist Jason Messer. They met by chance at a local Phoenix Guitar Center where Jason had been working at the time. They walked into the guitar room and have been performing live together ever since. The combo gives the stage an eclectic rock vibe & they each have unique styles that come together with great musical chemistry.
Occasionally Jeordie will throw in an unsuspecting cover or two, and maybe even one of "mom's" songs, that she sang backup on for years. She is a true performer so; the best way to hear her music is live!
Some of Jeordie's past show venues include: The Blue Bird Café Nashville Tenn.,
