Hi everyone, Firstly ,thank you for looking at my profile!
I am 22 years old and i have been singing from the age of six,the past five years for me have been just amazing!! i started singing professionally six years ago ,when i auditioned for a tribute show on the island of Menorca,i was picked from around 1000 people who attended the auditions , I was truley amazed!! I had a fantastic year out there and loved performing on stage.
On my return to the UK,i decided that i wanted to do more with my music career,so i started out down the road of audtions, I got picked several times,but found that some people wanted to take advantage of my talent!! I am sure that lots of us young artists have experienced these times , but i have to say that i learned from it .
My next move was to write my own songs ,and get them and myself to the studio to record them, we all know that this cost lots of money !!! I was fortunate to have someone standing by me who has a passion for what i do !!
We recorded my songs , it was just fantastic!!! my own tracks on my own CD with my own artwork !!!! WOW !!! i couldn`t believe it all !!! It gave me the inspiration to write more songs and record them.
My next step was to get some gigs,i got bookings in pubs and clubs in local area`s ,great fun !! i have to say ,but i wanted more,so i produced and performed my own shows, the full works band,dancers,stage lights an unforgetable experience!
THEN THE BIG BANG !!!!!!!
I WAS BORED !!!!! you might be thinking HOW CAN SHE BE BORED!!! well i needed something to be passionate again with ,an inspiration !!! to drive me
A few months passed and i got a call from my dad,telling me about Sellaband, he had seen it on TV and thought it would be a good idea to put my tracks on the site and see what happens ,of course i just said , YEA OK DAD !!! like we do !!!
I then had a look !!! well at first i thought , just another site making money from you !! but i started to read some profiles ect ect and yet again my inspiration`s were set on fire.so i uploaded my tracks!!
I thought wow !!! this is great ,getting your music out to the world, amazing !!!
So here i am !!! I wanted to tell you my story so far!!! as artists know it is very hard to get yourself through any doors in the music industry !!! Sellaband has given us all a fantastic opportunity ,and it may open the doors for all of us!!
Well I suppose after all that i now have to do the selling bit !!!! LOL to get you amazing people to believe in me,Well I just have to say ,if you like my songs ( there are more to come shortly ) and you respect the fact that i have been totally honest in what i have written,then please become a believer !!!

Howdy!
Just wanted to pop in and give you a heads up on Sommersby's October Competition!
If you haven't already heard, the competition (hot on the heels of his recent neck-in-neck September fiesta) will offer 20 parts for the winner and is open to all artists that have between $9999 and $0 in budget.
Please check the forum for updates on contest rules and regs….starts 25 October!
This is a great opportunity for you. Campaign with the believers to let them know you'd like to be nominated and encourage them to vote for you when the time comes.
