Howdy!
Just wanted to pop in and give you a heads up on Sommersby's October Competition!
If you haven't already heard, the competition (hot on the heels of his recent neck-in-neck September fiesta) will offer 20 parts for the winner and is open to all artists that have $9999 or less in budget on 25 October.
This is a great opportunity for you. Let all your believers know you'd like to be nominated and encourage them to vote for you when the time comes.
Of course, if you'd like to, or you know someone who would like to, donate to the prizes in the Competition, just send (or have them send) Sommersby the details under a message marked “October Donation."

Hoi Jos,
Er zijn toch heel wat mensen die graag in je zouden willen investeren, maar omdat het lijkt alsof je niet geinteresseerd bent om verder iets op Sellaband te doen, zien ze van een investering af.
Het zou jammer zijn, want je bent een fantastische zangeres. Maar als je geen tijd hebt om aktief op Sellaband te zijn, zou je het ons dan kunnen laten weten?

Here some more background information about me: i started playing the piano when I was six when I was eleven I also played oboe. after studying at the conservatory i went to a musical theatre school in amsterdam after graduating I performed in several theatre show mainly for children. i toured threw the USA last year with theatre Terra with the show" frog and his friends". Now Im the singer of a band for kids. I'm writing songs since a few years now. I get inspired from joni mitchell, damien rice, raoul midon, sting, amos lee. My dream is to record a cd with my own songs played by amazing musicians. i hope you can help me realize my dream!! Thanks a lot,

Thank you so much for your message. I would very much like to see you succeed in your quest. Saying that I will share some observations I have about succeeding on Sellaband.
First and foremost, you must have potential - which there is no doubt that you do have.
Second, you must promote yourself on an almost never- ending basis both on Sellaband and other internet sites. Set up an artist page at myspace and /or the other social network sites - find sellaband related web sites and participate in discussions.
Third and most importantly, engage directly with your believers and potential believers. Use the sellaband site to leave messages / comments and always respond when someone buys parts! Do this publically - using the comment section in your sellaband listing - so others can see that you are sincere in your quest and that you appreciate the support.
