Hi my name is joOp wolters, iám a Dutch composer/musician playing guitar/bass/synthguitar/programming drums of mainly instrumental diverse and high quality music as well as beeing player/composer for some other bands/ artist and projects , the name of the game is beeing yourself and going out on a limb to push your own boundaries!!!
trying to bring something new to the table combinationwise, something personal as good as possible!! trying to Innovate don't recreate!!
since 1988 releasing albums with original music , having the privilege to work with some of the greatest musicians around on various projects and albums
Arabesque,Elysion,Lalu,Shadrane,Patrick Eijdems,Nathan vd Wouw,Mike Roelofs,Barend Tromp,Rogier van Wegberg,Alex Argento,Anders Johansson,Chris Catena,Daniel Flores,Gary Wehrkamp,Göran Edman,Gregg Bissonette,Hubi Meisel,John Macaluso,Marco Sfogli,Martin LeMar,Matt Bissonette,Mike Terrana,Russell Bergquist,Ryan Van Poederooyen,Simon Phillips,Steve Walsh,Tony Franklin,Virgil Donati........
..now working on vocal solo- project after recording 3 instrumental solo-albums (worldwide released via LIONMUSIC in Finland) in a timespan of 5 years..
Let's see if sellaband can also be a place for skilled and serious music/musicians/composers, or again only just a place to have again the next popularity contest ...;)!!

joOp wolters came to SAB a couple months ago with some amazing instrumental tracks (more of which, it turns out, can be found on his prevoius CD's). He's adding a vocal dimension to this next project, and from what I've heard so far, I'd say it's shaping up to be some great music.
Both the vocal and instrument al tracks have plenty of energy and outstanding guitar work. He anticipates a number of vocalists contributing as well, and I look forward to hearing what they'll add. |
