Once upon a time there was a girl of many names. She saw things she shouldn't see and felt things she didn't want to feel. In time, her misery became quite entertaining...

Hello everyone and welcome to my page! I'm so excited to embark on this musical journey with you because I've never been more ready than I am now to record my debut album. (again insert 'Hysteria' here lol)
I'm a classically trained violist originally from New York and I've lived in London for over a year. I'm a singer/songwriter and a self-taught pianist. I also write poems and play a little guitar :)
I've been playing viola in orchestras my whole life, and I've been playing violin in rock bands for the past 4 years. I was in the band Porcelain (Universal Records) for a year and had the opportunity to open for INXS which was pretty cool :) We also got to work with many other talented people in the industry such as Mike Chapman (Blondie, Tina Turner, Pat Benatar), Greg Collins (U2, Tracy Bonham), and Holly Knight (Heart, Aerosmith, Rod Stewart) to name a few.
Recently 4 of my songs were licensed to MTV to be played on the hit reality show, 'The Hills.' They said most likely Season 3 so we'll see...
I started my band, Lunic, in May 2006, and since then we've toured the US twice and played shows and music festivals throughout Los Angeles and London at venues such as the House of Blues, The Roxy, & Viper Room as well as Manchester Academy, Barfly, & The Halfmoon. We're currently planning our 3rd American tour for June 2008...

Now that we've reached 50K I may not be on sellaband as often in the coming months and I'd love to keep in touch will all of you about news and updates pertaining to recording the album, the band, tours, and all things musical. I've been thinking a ton about our 50K plan lately and I get really excited (and really impatient) every time I think about it. I want to record RIGHT NOW, and things never seem to happen fast enough. At the moment, Adam and I are still trying to book meetings with producers - that always goes slowly because most producers are usually really busy. If it were up to me, I'd line them up and meet them all next week if I could!
We're still practicing hard for the upcoming EP and that's been going well! Day 1 of EP recording is scheduled for 28th March.
Other really cool news - we're flying to Italy 9-11th May to play a big Sellaband show with Blackjack in Rome!! How cool is that! It's gonna be one crazy-fun-filled Italian weekend - I can't wait to run around ROME with Blackjack!
