Karmine plays emotional and melodic rock with catchy vocals, guitar solos and some athmospheric keyboard elements. The band`s mission is to bring some new blood in the well-known field of Finnish rockbands (Including names like Him, Entwine, Negative, To/Die/For which all have left their marks in this band) and to become the next Big Success!
Karmine was founded late 2005 in Jyväskylä, Finland. The band has released two promo cd:s and especially the newer release titled as "The New Beginning" was a BIG success in www.mikseri.net (The biggest royalty-free music site in Finland with over 75, 000 songs). The song "Crossroads" also got played in several nightclubs and topped the Mikseri-charts for two weeks.
During the autumn 2007 Karmine is playing some gigs and preparing for the next recording session, which will be held in January-February 2008.
We`re really eager to find people who will like to support us and, what`s the most important, BELIEVE in us and our skills!
So let`s make our way to the stars!

Just wanted to pop in and give you a heads up on Sommersby's October Competition!
If you haven't already heard, the competition (hot on the heels of his recent neck-in-neck September fiesta) will offer 20 parts for the winner and is open to all artists that have between $9999 and $0 in budget.
Please check the forum for updates on contest rules and regs….starts 25 October!
This is a great opportunity for you. Campaign with the believers to let them know you'd like to be nominated and encourage them to vote for you when the time comes.
Of course, if you'd like to, or you know someone who would like to, donate parts for the prizes in the Competition, just send (or have them send) Sommersby the details under a message marked “October Donation."
