HELLO!
Hello, I came to this site on recommendation from my good friend and one of my production partners DELCO. Delco and I recorded "Tonight" when we were in college together. I just recently graduated from UMaine where I majored in Advertising. I think this site is a GREAT idea and I absolutely love the concept! I feel right at home already! Music is my life, it always has been and it always will be. It's just who I am inside and out. I've always wanted to record a professional album at a top studio with a top producer! To be given this chance would really be a dream come true and I promise to do everything in my power to sell LOTS of CD's so that we can all make loads of money together, and hopefully further my career ;)
BIO
I've been singing all of my life. I have been in several bands and part of many different recording projects. I recorded a girl group/cover CD with my band in high school, performed as lead singer for two cover bands, and have worked with lots of hip hop artists on their recording projects. I will be releasing a solo CD soon and am just getting the hang of mp3s, webpages, etc. I love working with other creative people, and am always open for new collaborations!
INTERESTS
MUSIC: I'm a singer so music is a huge part of my life. I like everything from Hip Hop to Opera...seriously, if a song sounds good to me, I'll listen to it. I don't care what kind of music it is! I do have a strange obsession with songs from the 80s and early 90s though....and Hip Hop/R&;B has always been a favorite of mine as well.
MOVIES: I LOVE HORROR MOVIES....even the cheesy low budget flicks...and as of recent, I also am a fan of documentaries...they are so not the boring pieces I thought they would be.
TELEVISION: T.V. is the last thing that I have time for, but when I do watch it, I watch pretty shameful shows, like Real World and Making the Band. I also like to watch random documentaries like the underworld of pimps and ho's or when predators attack...
BOOKS: I absolutely love to read, so there is no way I could list all of my favorite books. Here is a list of some books that I own: It, The Shining, The Stand, Carrie, Fire Starter, Flowers in the Attic, Petals on the Wind, If there be thorns, Seeds of Yesterday, Heaven, Dark Angel, Gates of Paradise, The Fountainhead, Siddartha, The Color Purple, Uncle Tom's Cabin, A Wrinkle In Time, The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, Hamlet and Macbeth, I own a lot more books than listed...and I like so many more. I just don't feel like typing anymore:)

Just wanted to pop in and give you a heads up on Sommersby's October Competition!
If you haven't already heard, the competition (hot on the heels of his recent neck-in-neck September fiesta) will offer 20 parts for the winner and is open to all artists that have between $9999 and $0 in budget.
Please check the forum for updates on contest rules and regs….starts 25 October!
This is a great opportunity for you. Campaign with the believers to let them know you'd like to be nominated and encourage them to vote for you when the time comes.
Of course, if you'd like to, or you know someone who would like to, donate parts for the prizes in the Competition, just send (or have them send) Sommersby the details under a message marked “October Donation."

Hey! Glad you like it! The site's a bit of a mystery at first but you find the believers by going to other artists pages and either commenting or messaging them. I think most believers on here prefer a public comment.
So good to have you on here! The site can get pretyy addictive so watch out! :)
