Welcome to my page. I am a songwriter, first. It's the only thing I know how to do, the only way I've supported my children. I have a catalogue of songs that have been recorded by lots of people, but these songs are for me. I left the corporate songwriting world and the security of a paycheck because I just have to sing my own songs before I leave this planet. I have lived every note. I appreciate those who believe in me. I thank you for listening. A person who supports the art, is more precious than diamonds.
You will no doubt hear some of the influence of my Irish mountain roots and my Cherokee grandmothers. I hope you like it. kim

My first int'l Folk Alliance was a blast!!! First - let me thank those of you who came to my showcases and mentioned seeing me on Sellaband!! Yippee!
I was amazed at all the music being done for ALL the right reasons. It was so good for my spirit. Everyone goes to Folk Alliance to get gigs, network (not my strongsuit :)...) and to basically shine as brightly as possible. But I couldn't help but notice some artists that moved me, and were just plain nice. A beautiful heart is worth mentioning - so do check out these wonderful people!
Tori Sparks - a trailblazer rockin' she-ro
Sofia Grey - a quiet spirit with important music
Keith Sykes - he's just cool
Madalyn Sklar and the blazing batalian of feminine support at Gogirlsmusic.com
Cynthia Bennett - an Irish songbird with a gorgeous soul
Holly Light - a flamethrower of a voice from the West Coast who really reached out with some kind words
Gary Allegretto - whose harmonica workshop and unsinkable spirit blew me away (no pun intended!) - what an artist!
Juni Fisher - a cowgirl with such class
