Wow!! Thanks!! I havent been online in a while, since my new apartment in Buenos Aires does´nt have internet yet!
So cool I came in second place for the competition! Many thanks to the judges!! Many congratulations to GD! Well done mate! Anyway, things are going good. More gigs to come and the footage of the last one will be ready any day now. Looking forward to sharing that with you!

After a great time in New York with Simeon Janosch and a encounter with Maitreya and Sake Bombs, I am back in Buenos Aires. Tonight is the night. The second concert of Kirt will be at 21h. in "El Imaginario" Bulnes y Guardia Vieja. Entrada libre! We have a lot of surprises prepared! This one will be great. See you there!

Meet the band!

The footage of the 2nd Live rehearsal is up in the video section!! This is filmed with a little digital camera, so bear with me as the sound is not exactly studio quality, but rest assured, the real thing sounds much better! We are playing: "Dawn", "Going 19" and "Tide"! We also practiced "Harvest" for the first time, but we still have to work on that some more.

Friday 6th of july

Ha!!!Practice on Wednesday went very well! We played: "Tide", "Going 19" and "Dawn". Surprisingly "Dawn" is very well suited for live performance! I am very excited about this and can´t wait until our next session! The band consists of: Alejandro(drums), Juan(Bass) Nicolas(Keyboards) and Javier (Guitar) In the next weeks we will also practice "Harvest", "Man Slaughtered by Wife", "Father" and "You Have Seen it". Footage will come when we´ve got the songs down. Maybe even next week, so stay tuned! Upon the request of Brian´s lovely Princess Steff, I have added the lyrics of "Father" and "Tide" in the "Shows" tab. Make sure to check them out and visit lovely Steff Here.

Today I met the band, who I will play with! All super cool guys!!Next Wednesday we´ll have our first rehearsal!! I will make footage and put it up, (if its not too embarassing). Not on their part-they are all pros from hell!!

Yesterday just wasnt my day: after the whole kidnapping call, I lost my phone in a cab! Damn!
I went out to party and after a long night, I ended up on the roof terrace of the brother of a friend painting a big canvas with red wine and a bucket of white paint. Then we hurled eachother at the canvas, leaving our personal prints on it; and loads of white paint on my clothes and face.:-) Strange day. But fun!

Sat.16th.June

I have just had a call from someone claiming to be the police asking something about an accident of a friend of mine here in Buenos Aires. After I have revealed my name, I became suspicious and they started to threaten me and told me that they are former police and that they have kidnapped my friend and that they will kill him, if I dont pay them money! Seriously! After telling me that they found out my number via my friend, I realized this is impossible because he doesnt have the number they called me on, so I hung up!They didnt call back, but I was scared that they may know where I live and they have my full name. So I left my apartment for a while. After assuring my friend has definately not been kidnapped, I found out this kind of crap happens here all the time! Welcome to Buenos Aires, I thought to myself!:-) Hehehe, I am fine now, but I was a little edgy after that! just a little update of my day. Will go have a beer with my kidnapped friend now...

I am back in Frankfurt and back in action! On Sunday I will work with Simeon to record a new song. There is also a new Kirt song coming up! If you like Going 19, you probably will like this one too! The time in my secret location was very nice and now its time to get back to work! I was very inspired by a meeting with a world renound artist, who lives in this secret location! He is 80 years young and I had the opportunity to visit him in his studio!He showed me again how important it is to go my own way and not be deterred by setbacks. He has gone his own way, allthough he was not successful for a long time, but in the end his determination has payed off! What an experience! I will do the same.

Fri. 30th. March
I will dissapear for 2 weeks. Until the 12th of April. This time for real. No computers. No email. Nothing. O.K. Maybe internet cafés. Lets see how long I last without Sellaband.:-) I forgot the cable for my mobile in Argentina, so I guess no phone either.
Only those believers, who have requested a CD before this day will know my whereabouts, since I will send them the CD from this mystery location.

I have arrived back in Germany. Argentina was a blast and a great success!
The best is still to come, since I will move there for a couple months beginning of May. I will promote Sellaband and Kirt, find a band for gigs, and simply enjoy Buenos Aires lifestyle!

I have added three songs:

I have come close to death 4 times in my life:
1.When I was 3 I had a nearly fatal asthma attack while I was asleep. A little
girl saved me. She had alerted grown ups, who called an ambulance. Suffocating is the worst feeling I have ever physically experienced.

2.When I was 12, I climbed up a 10 meter cliff. There was only one way down: to climb down. I spent an hour thinking about my path down, before I attempted to take it. Every moment I was climbing down, I was aware of death. Below me was the ocean with sharp rocks pointing out of the water. Here, I saved myself.

3. When I was 17, I was very ill. A surgeon saved my life in an emergency operation. He said I had a couple of hours to live.

4. When I was 23, I had an encounter with a lunatic on a highway in Belgium.
He tried to ram me at 150 km an hour. It was a near miss. Fate saved me.
I KNOW it would have been a terrible accident.

Allthough there is no direct connection, all these songs are a result of facing death. I realize that now.
