Leonie Avenant...
Leonie studied Music Technology and Vocal Training at the London Centre of Contemporary Music - BTEC HND (UK) as well as singing at the University of Stellenbosch. She is also a qualified Biokineticist and studied Sport Science early in her career. Her ongoing passion and dream is to compose new music on a daily basis. She enjoys writing dance and sport related tracks. She has been involved in many musical projects such as: Cast Member and Soul Girl: Jesus Christ Superstar, Wycombe Swan Theatre, UK. Cast Member: Tribute to Tim Rice, Night of 1000 Voices, Royal Albert Hall, London. Cast Member: Carnival Messiah, West Yorkshire Playhouse, Leeds. Cast Member: KEANE Music Video, 'Everybody’s Changing'. Band Member of Sunsoma (an Indie Rock Band – signed with Oneill’s Europe Surf DVD). She played the keyboard and did Backing Vocals at many exciting venues all over London and the UK. Leonie is an unsigned artist currently playing with an Electronic Dance Band called, ZeeQ. Leonie is a great fan of South African artists such as Hugh Masekela, Malaika, Leon Schuster, Brasse van die Kaap and genres such as dance, trance, house, Kwaito, traditional South African music and rock.

Howdy!
Just wanted to pop in and give you a heads up on Sommersby's October Competition!
If you haven't already heard, the competition (hot on the heels of his recent neck-in-neck September fiesta) will offer 20 parts for the winner and is open to all artists that have between $9999 and $0 in budget.
Please check the forum for updates on contest rules and regs….starts 25 October!
This is a great opportunity for you. Campaign with the believers to let them know you'd like to be nominated and encourage them to vote for you when the time comes.
