Haunting and fractured fairytale gothic countess
The forthcoming album explores haunting themes such as unrequited love in 'Phantom love', the false limitations of the fashion industry in 'Fashion Slave'. In the ethereal 'Creeping' this song plays out like a twisted lullaby. Whilst the song R.I.P which Lady Haidee wrote for a project called the Dyslectics in which she wishes to include on this album explores the notion of human vampires. This is a dark haunting album with a fairytale vision that opens the doors to enchantment; full of hope, magic and wonder.

I took Spooky my cat to the vet recently as her fur on on her ears began to disappear, only to discover she has genetic skin disease, which the vet explained is for life, and that, as its genetic her son 'Spider' could also have this!! I was told I have to give them flea treatment every month. I also found out if I give them evening primrose oil, that this is a good supplement. So I am now stroking and brushing them constantly, and hope I can heal her disease as spiritual healing could cure her and Spider also if he has it!!

Hi,
I just wanted to say that your cover of "Venus in Furs" was outstanding. It really gave the song a fresh feel. Being a Lou Reed and Velvet Underground fan, i was interested when i heard you covered it, because i hoped it would stay true to the original version, but still make it interesting, and it was all that. So great job, i guess is what im trying to say!

Lady Haidee didn't grab me right away the way some of the earlier recommendations from my review contest did, but R.I.P did have a nice haunting mood that made me want to hear some more. In some places she reminded me a just a LITTLE bit of Garbage, but only in a vague way. I don't want to try and pigeonhole her since she does sound unique, just trying to give an idea of what sort of genre she belongs to. I mulled about it for a while on whether I'd want to buy a part or not, but seeing her up at the top of the list now, I decided I don't want to miss out! |
