NOSTALGIA is a very good production with a passionate Latin voice as clear as crystal and still here and there a rough touch to make it emotionally fit. The orchestra is of excellent quality and I like the strings, horns and beats. NOSTALGIA gives me the emotion of walking all alone on an South American beach and missing my love ones. The music makes me think about them and that is why I don’t want the music to stop because it is so sweet to think about your love ones. In the meantime the reality made the emotion come to life and Lily knows exactly what I mean. The love of my life is no more and that makes Lily's song even more important to me. I didn't know what to expect when I first heard lily (not knowing that much about latin (except that's it's a dead language)). I was suprised and I liked it even though I have no idea what she's saying - I don't care. With songs like Nostalgia I can imagine a room full of people dancing (old fashion dancing where you actually get to hold someone even if you'd have to more really quickly to keep up with the music). It sounds like good clean fun (and it is, Lily was nice enough to confirm that her music is about things like love - something we can all do with more of). |
