If you haven't already heard, the competition (hot on the heels of his recent neck-in-neck September fiesta) will offer 20 parts for the winner and is open to all artists that have $9999 or less in budget on 25 October.
This is a great opportunity for you. Let all your believers know you'd like to be nominated and encourage them to vote for you when the time comes.
Of course, if you'd like to, or you know someone who would like to, donate to the prizes in the Competition, just send (or have them send) Sommersby the details under a message marked “October Donation."

I just dropped by and read your comment, I agree SAB can be quite overwhelming at times. So, yes, take your time and go at your own pace. Thats what I try and do. I don't have daily gigs so it is a little easier for me to keep up with all the replys.
You don't have to reply to this mail right now.... (Maybe on the weekend) but one of the joys of SAB is getting to work with artistes from all over the world. I have one of the newest collabs here with Pieps, Peatnik, Joris and myself on vocals. It was fun. (and we haven't met in real life) Come and have a listen and enjoy every moment of your career.

I appreciate your message. I think you should go your own way and it is nice you now explained what your way is. Now believers can choose to believe in that way or not... I like your honesty and your songs and my belief in your talent stays!
Just take the time you need and I don't think you should PM everyone personally but please let us know on your profile from time to time how you are doing and what you are doing.

hello everyone who is a believer, a supporter, a curious ear, a friend, etc....I just wanna explain a bit of why I have been missing in action,
the sell a band ride is defenitely a real one and a lot of fun, but i felt if there were delayed replies from my part, people were taking things very personaly and to be honest that sort of scared me. I can't tell you how much it meant to me that there was so much enthusiasm and excitement coming to me in the beginning, and I began to write and record more new ideas, but I have to maintain my jobs (I play almost every night in bars and stuff to be able to live) and travel a lot (because I collaborate with writers and producers in many different countries) and suddenly I felt overwhelmed with the pressure to write back to everyone personally, as well as the myspace stuff and the personal emails....I am sure anyone would understand that the internet and its many benefits also is a double sided sword. It can take so much of your time and creative energy, when sometimes i prefer to spend days walking in the the forest or the beach, listening to the silence and writing new ideas in my head.
I will be ready with new songs soon, and I thank all of you who have not withdrawn your support for your understanding and patience.
I dont like the feeling of a competitive race, that's why the only sport I like is swimming and running, just you and your own goals,
my goal is to deliver quality songs to the world, i dont really worry about when or how quickly i get them out, that's the beauty of not being with a label right now.
sometimes it takes time to find the right thing to say or the right melody to say it with. sometimes you have to live in order to have something to write about.
life is the author, I am just the messenger girl.
I hope this helps everyone understand a bit of what's going on.
I dont give up on myself, i know my life always has constantly changing phases, and the creative phase is the most beautiful and precious one.
