GERMANY
When I arrived in Munich it was raining. I didnt look for shelter but instead walked with my head held high. The smell of rain was intoxicating. It was a scent I had not smelt since I was a child. Ill never forget that smell and that wonderful sensation as I stepped off the train.
COUNTRY SIDE IN BRITAIN - late August (ELY/CAMBRIDGE)
Well we hired a car and took a road trip to visit Chantelles family in the country. Besides the fact the car we hired was dodgy and had no brakes! it was fine. We didnt get too lost even though I was navigating off a map from 2005 lol.
We got to see the horses that live in her cousins farm and went to Ely Cathedral which was so beautiful I felt moved by it. It was very inviting and for some crazy reason I started crying.... perhaps I was just hormonal that day :-) We drank lots of tea.... in fact it was tea tea tea in Britain. Lots of trips to the toilet but worth it

Below are Jo's travel adventures 2007.... please read
ROME 3rd - 6th Aug
Finding the hotel was a mission and after a 24hr flight, who could be bothered. After a much needed 13hr sleep, Chantelle & I were ready for Italy. The Colloseum, Vatican city, beaches, Sistine Chapel, markets & general culture is nothing more than amazing. I am enjoying learning more about where my family comes from. The food is great and well the men are very cute. You can often hear 'Ciao Bella' as we walk the streets of Rome which is a good laugh! Though you have to keep your wits about you as theft and over charging tourists is prominent here, we are having a great time. Next stop Florence.
FLORENCE 6th - 9th Aug
This was a truely amazing place and much safer & cleaner than Rome. I went on a tour of Tuscany and saw Sienna & the beautiful country side. Of course PISA was a must to take what seemed liked a million photos of the leaning tower. We went to a club called 'Discotech' to party. We danced and had a blast. It was such a big club and very different to home. The Italian boys strutted their stuff in their white pants lol.
The markets were great & I couldnt resist and bought leather gloves. Italy has so many wonderful things but I need to watch my pennies
VENICE 9th - 11th Aug
This is the most beautiful place I have ever seen. I love the water and so this is the place for me. We took a water taxi to Murano and saw 1st hand the masters creating these amazing works of art..... simply divine. The food here is great, but you have to go to the back streets away from the canals where the tourists lie to experience the local culture and pay a lesser price. I wish to come back here!
I also went to the beach today at the venice island 'Lido'. I took some shells and will be putting them in my album when I return home. Good times I will surely remember. The people are nice here and Chantelle and I met some last night who showed us around which was a real bonus.
ZURICH
Very preety country and what seemed a rich city. The lake was pleasant and the lifestyle is great!!!! somewhere I could live I believeAMSTERDAM
I am at the SAB concert as I write to you now.... so amazing!!!! Everyone at the lunch was great and really friendly. I am so pleased with everything.
Amsterdam is so crazy. Chantelle and I dicovered the red light district last night and saw things I have never seen before, including shop windows of women. Holland has so much beatiful country side however Amsterdam is the city of sin well at least for the tourists not the locals(Vegas Dragons may know about this lol.....
I am having a blast at the SAB anniversary..... It is such a dream to be here. My love to all my believers I have met in the flesh today and thankyou so very much. I really do mean that xoxo
17/08
Did the tourist thing today and saw many great museums that Amsterdam has to offer. Did not stay long at last nights after party as I got smashed with all the drinks... good times!!! Slipped out the door as I was buggered and had an early start this morning. Was really great to be there and meet you all xo Jo
GERMANY 19th Aug - 21st Aug (Munich & Berlin)
When I arrived in Munich it was raining. I didnt look for shelter but in stead walked with my head held high. The smell of rain was intoxicating. It was a scent I had not smelt since I was a child. Ill never forget that smell and that wonderful sensation as I stepped off the train.
So much history there that it was overwhelming. We saw alot here and found Munich very beautiful. I found Berlin interesting and was intrigued by the alternative youth there.
I went to the Berlin wall and walked across and also went to check point charlie.
LONDON 21st-29th
I was very fortunate to have a friend here as it was sooo expensive. I had free accomidation so I was able to stay for 8 days. I went to Notting Hill carnival which out of this world. The hip hop culture is Huge and the speakers were blaring in the streets. I had a great time dancing and soaking in my surroundings.
Well my friend is crazy and got us kicked out of the comedy club because she couldnt take a joke and argued with comedien on stage in front of 100 people ( at least)... very embarressing.
I walked over the London Bridge. Went to Covent Garden and saw CHICAGO which was great! Basicall just did alot of wandering and exploring.
COUNTRY SIDE IN BRITAIN (ELY/CAMBRIDGE)
Well we hired a car and took a road trip to visit Chantelles family in the country. Besides the fact the car we hired was dodgy and had no breaks... it was fine. We didnt get too lost even though I was navigating off a map from 2005 lol.

BARCELONA & MADRID
Thankyou to Carlos and Tomas for being our very special friends in Spain we had a blast. Madrid really showed the local life as it was August, they closed up shop and very little was open in the burbs so we had to venture out....
Barcelona was one of my favourite places. It was the beach everyday there and loved lying on a banana chair with a glass of Sangria. Party scene was very fun and we had many drinks....
The Jelly fish warnings on the beach were the only dissapointment but I still went for a dip. We also suffered from mild food poisening there however The laneways and buildings were amazing and I want to return as I enjoyed the relaxed lifestyle so much.
IBITHA
We stayed in San Antonio..... Biggest Clubs in the world & FOAM PARTY.... need I say more more lol
PARIS
Would you believe we went to Euro disney and I got my photo with Minnie mouse which was great! I stood in line waiting and some everyone else in the line were children. The adults laughed at Chantelle and I as we got our picture but we didnt care :-)
We also went to the famous Moulin Rouge and drank way too much Champaigne and watched the breast filled show. I loved it as it was a dream to go there even though the men were very uncomfortably persistant to say the least!
THAILAND (September 10th - 16th)
Loved being pampered and pampered is what we were.... Phi Phi sland was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.
Look, besides the fact I was attacked by a Sea Urchent and Survived a Tsunami warning on Patong Beach where we stayed.... it was great!
