luna spark is an indietronic synth/folk solo/collaborative project based in Auckland, New Zealand, and Hamilton, also New Zealand. Based on the songs and efforts of me, tracey exenola, luna spark's first EP, Sarah, was released in 2001. The follow up, 2002's Media, featured the minor local radio hit Over the Rainbow. Three albums, a handful of live appearances and a few one off mp3s later, 2007 saw the release of the long delayed concept album The Siren, as well as a collection of acoustic-synth songs called Trigger Happy Little Finger, recorded with Htown singing sensation, lulu.

Howdy!
Just wanted to pop in and give you a heads up on Sommersby's October Competition!
If you haven't already heard, the competition (hot on the heels of his recent neck-in-neck September fiesta) will offer 20 parts for the winner and is open to all artists that have between $9999 and $0 in budget.
Please check the forum for updates on contest rules and regs….starts 25 October!
This is a great opportunity for you. Campaign with the believers to let them know you'd like to be nominated and encourage them to vote for you when the time comes.
Of course, if you'd like to, or you know someone who would like to, donate parts for the prizes in the Competition, just send (or have them send) Sommersby the details under a message marked “October Donation."
