A great voice and loads of compassion. He's more Live8 than any of the established artists. Magnus deserves the CD, because this CD will be a strong message to the world and to each individual soul who inhabits Planet Earth: "We care, One People, One Planet, we're all ONE"! Buy as many parts as you can, you don't have to do it all at one time. Save on one of the non-essential things that I know we all buy each week ;-)! Save $10 a week, bi-weekly, monthly, it doesn't matter. Then immediately buy parts in Magnus. So he moves into the charts. I've been spending so much money each year to charity, but I'm often disappointed in the results. Music is the universal language that people understand, even when they can't read. Go For It! Let Magnus be your voice in a world where we're all hard of hearing. |

Magnus is a man with one of the biggest hearts on Sellaband. Just check out his myspace page for all the causes he passionately supports. With all of my heart I sincerely hope that he gets to record with Sellaband. Just like Lily, he would make an excellent Sellaband ambassador (before he decides to run the UN!) I hope (and pray) all his dreams come true. He really does deserve it. If you ever feel sorry for yourself just imagine what this great man has been put through. All the best to you! |

MAGNUS was born in 1981 in Yekepa, a village in Nimba County/Liberia, as Magnus G. Wheagar. For many years he wandered around in the dense West African forest on the run as refugee of war, to escape from extremely crewel and bloody violence in his homeland Liberia and neighboring Sierra Leone. Presently R&B singer and composer MAGNUS lives in Conakry/Guinea to sing his educative songs on love, AIDS/HIV and humanity in general. He can hardly make a living on an average single $1 per day. Still, being a refugee of war in an other Third World country, MAGNUS desperately needs to "get a break" very soon, and if you want ("if you really really want!"), you can make his dream come through of becoming a famous international record artist. Just Believe in him and ask your friends and other Believers at SellaBand to do the same otherwise it remains “smell no taste!” (Liberian verb). |

Magnus has an excellent voice and feel for just the right tempo - it sounds like he has found his style and all he needs is some guidance and an opportunity to produce a great CD. Aids is Real ranks among my favorite songs on SellaBand. |

MAGNUS, well done mate. You have the true grit and determination to
make it. You put a message in your song that needs to be heard. Your style can't be copied. |

Though this is not exactly my style of music, there could not be a better purpose behind it. All the best to you, Magnus. You and Jesse David just keep singing us into a better place... |

I dare anyone to read this artists page and not reconsider their own lives!!! I believe one day he will lyrically express what gives him that wonderful smile, inspite of his horrific experiences and backed with some cool african beats, those tunes will have us all open mouthed ! &nbs p; |
