Info
Griet used to compose and perform on her own, but since 12th April 2007 Margaretha Von Parma has become five-man-band: Griet, Arvid, Frank, Geert and Wouter. It had to be jazz-minded, lots of soul, and different . Our current line-up: vocals, Rhodes, Hammond, horns, drums and a bass. In a nutshell: Griet's voice at the centre, backed up by an able band.
Some people think it sounds like Norah Jones, others spot a hint of Everything but the girl, but if anything Margaretha Von Parma has its own sound.
Margaretha Von Parma is looking forward to playing lots more gigs!

Hi All,
Just a quick line of good news:
Last weekend MvP took part at two different contests, and on both occasions were voted as the winner by the jury. This means that we will play at the next round of both events (semi-finals and finals respectively)!

Hey you!
We shot some live footage during our previous gig, and one clip has already been uploaded to our sellaband-account, but apparantly the sellaband-server is taking its time process the clip.
So come back and check it again in a while. Hopefully it won't take that long any more.

Thursday we'll be playing Arte Libre Festival in Kortrijk (Coutrai). We'll be trying to get a decent live recording there. It's a quite a small venue, so hopefully we'll be able to get it done.
