hello everyone!

first and foremost- sorry for my english, I will do my best;)

At first I want to say THANK'S for all belivers! It's beautiful what you are doing here! thanks for belive in our music! thank you for support every talented artist like julia marcell , maitreya and others!this is great idea to do something like that! so thak you thank you thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hmm..how to start. my name is marcelina and I love music. I write my own songs,I try to do what feels good to me and what I love.

today I decided to start my blog just because of you -my dear belivers,and all people who read this and are interested in my music! maybe I'm not a marketing pro but I really love to sing ,and I really want to do this all my life!

I will tell you something about me here.

I'm from Cieszyn, a small town in Poland near Wisła(you know Adam Małysz -famous ski jumper from poland;)

When I finished highschool and started to study on the music academy  in katowice (my doctor mother wanted me to study medicine,I said ''NO'':), I decided to move to wroclaw. it's a very nice big city with lots of things happening. I wanted to expand my possibilities and meet more  musicians.I knew just one person there and definitely music was the reason to move there and leave my hometown, parents and friends.

I started to sing in jazz clubs on jam session and I met more and more people who play music and love soul just like me. we played in clubs every week and after one year we were one of the best jazz bands in wroclaw. we started playing banquets and parties for the rich and famous ( for example for president of wroclaw,actors etc).we're happy we can make money playing nice jazz and ambitious pop music, I can pay my rent, and sometimes treat myself to something nice:) 

 I was thinking about my own songs..I was sitting by the piano and trying to write somethig. my boyfriend (who plays guitar) made up one nice riff and I made up a nice melody to this..and then I wrote lirycs to this and that was our first song -''ther's no one''.

we recorded it in our flat. then one guy, the owner of jazz club ''rura''(one of the oldest in wroclaw) asked us if we had more songs and if we can play a  concert in his club ..we said ''yes'' although we had just one song!

And here is the beginning of our work..it was the end of the summer  holidays and the gig was planned on the 8th of november..so we had 3 months to do minimum 10 songs!!!!!

we wrote the songs,arranged them and wrote lirycs with some help from our good friend Natalia Grosiak.she wrote really good lirycs! then we started looking for  some place to do the rehearsal. we found it and started to work on our stuff. we've got  6 songs and 4 covers.

The local Radio wanted to promote our concert so they asked if we have some recordings. we went into the studio and record professionaly our song ''ther's no one''.the radio director fell in love with this song and put it on the music compilation ''ram cafe II''. it went gold record in two weeks!!! people write e-mails to the radio asking "who is this girl??" ! I was shocked and very happy. they play this song on the radio many times a day!

8th of november

It is a day of our first concert with our own material..we was a little bit nervous. I was affraid that we are not so famous and people won't come to our show....but there were over 200 people at the concert! 200 because more couldn't even get a ticket! the jazz club was full!

It was a great gig.(look for "marcelina stoszek" on youtube or look in the ''about me'' section) people write me  e-mails and write to the radio asking to play my song more often. It was amaizing! I fell like i'm in  heaven!

We wrote one more song and played it at another gig.In a very famous club in wroclaw ''bezsennosc'' and it was its 3 birthday party. There were more than 300 people on our gig! many of them were foreign: there were people from usa ,from spain and germany. they wrote to me that they are looking for our next gig and they love our playing.

Now we're planning more gigs and we want to record some of our songs.

we are still warking on our material. I will write more in time.

I am so grateful to you guys for believing in me! i hope this short introduction will reasure you that every dollar spent on me is a dollar well spent! Thank you so much!
