Mark McOnie_

Well thanks for having me.....I am an English songwriter, who lives in Melbourne, Australia and has recently decided to 'go public'.  Inspired by the classics like Elvis, Cash, Neil Young, Beach Boys.  I am also a big fan of Ryan Adams, U2, REM, Radiohead but really can't go past a good melody and a good hook whoever the writer!  Thanks to some good supporters and some (non-online) believers, I was fortunate enough to work with some very talented musicians (Sean McVitty, Paul Daniel, Steve Hadley, Steve Paix, Ben Grayson and Erin Walsh) to create my first album of 12 songs (3 of which are documented here) called A Tree So Tall (2008) and now find myself trying to reach out to other artists and music lovers to see if this just might be their thing too!  Most of all, I hope you enjoy and feel the need to spread the word!

Why am I here?  Music is for sharing and I feel lucky to have the tools available to be able to share this with you.  Hopefully, we will have the chance the go on and continue to create...that is the dream!
