Maureen Conlin is a children's music entertainer/educator who composes children's music with a message. She has recorded three CD's and would like to record a fourth that will encourage children to tune out and turn off their televisions and tune into their own creativity and imagination through music. Maureen would like to also be able to donate her music to all those children who live in domestic abuse shelters, crisis centers, hospitals, and who attend preschools and child care centers that don't have a budget to bring music to the children. It is her goal to be able to raise the funds to produce and complete a music CD that can be donated to all those facilities across the country. Although this site is mainly for artists and bands in the teenage and adult world, let's not forget all those children out there who are future musicians, composers and creative artists if they are given the opportunity and encouragement to explore, experience and create through music.

I believe that a difference can be made when people join together to make things happen in a positive, creative and enthusiastic way. The sum of all parts equal it's whole so I look forward to getting all the parts sold so that the music can reach thousands of young children and encourage them to create, experience and explore through music.

Creating fun, entertaining and educational songs and music that will encourage young children to begin a musical journey where they can explore, create, experience and enjoy music is as important to me as putting together a rock or jazz CD for adults to enjoy. That's why I am a part of sellaband and why I hope to raise the 50K to produce, market and sell a quality children's CD. Most of my inspiration for the songs I write and compose comes from the young children themselves but if you have an idea or theme that you feel is important and that will encourage young children to begin to develop an interest and love in music, be sure to send it my way and I'll put together the music and lyrics, kid style for my sellaband CD for them to enjoy once I've sold the parts toward the 50K for the CD.
