Whats this? an update? =) Right, here's the deal... mesa really are no more... but... the members all remain... and... we've renamed our humble group... more on this later.. of course, if you can think of a better name... we'll send you a free cd! =) For those who know "kingsy", we shall have an acoustic recording of the brand new version... we hope itl make heads spin.
At this moment in time, we're currently working with a number of producers, busy recording our first album... its an eclectic mix as always but with more emphasis placed on vocals and harmonies then ever before and, as always, is a stop-start rock kinda thing.
track list (so far) is as follows:
Comic/Tragic.
Sacre Bleu.
Senior..
Nothing Simple.
Kingsy.
The Main Event has come to Town.
Empo
Kinda Girl
Mis-shaded.
Derek K- guitars
Handsome D- bass, guitars, vocals
Bar P - drums
Davey G - vocals, guitars
An extravaganza of madness resembling a circus engulfed in flames while the tubas and trombones play on regardless, a horrifying spectacle of unbearable thrills, a devilish delight of the world's most unspeakable sights.
A stop-start rock kinda thing.
Maybe, overtime, we can learn to do the bugaloo.

For a moment there, I thought you'd left Sellaband, but reading about your future plans of a CD brought a smile to my face :-)
I won't be so bold to suggest a new name for the band, but I will clearly and shamelessly state that I WANT A CD when it's finished !! ;-) (I'll pay for it off course )

As the band says "the music of the mesa street exit is a stop start jazz rock kinda thing". "Sacre Bleu" and "Zippy" are my favorite songs of this band.

I find this band very intriguing and the diversity of their material
(look further to their 'other place') reminds me of other Irish bands
I've worked with - must be something in the water! This is a band with
plenty of places to go let's hope they choose the right ones. |
