Tomando como nombre de presentación una canción de los míticos Buenas Noches Rose, Miss Caffeina nación en Madrid a principios del año 2006. Influenciados por Deluxe, Los Planetas, Sidonie, Ivan Ferreiro, Pereza o Cristina Rosenvigne, consiguen un año después grabar su primer EP titulado "Destrucción Creativa" en Pig Studios (Granada) con la ayuda en producción de Erik Jiménez, actual batería de Los Planetas.

En Mayo de ese mismo año el grupo cambia de batería y bajista, quedando la actual formación compuesta de: Alberto Jiménez (cantante); Sergio Sastre y Alvaro Navarro (guitarras); Antonio Poza (bajo); y Román Méndez (batería).

Con esta nueva formacion el grupo recibe una injeccion de vitalidad, la compenetracion y dedicacion de la nueva formacion es infecciosa y la respuesta del publico es maravillosa.

En Enero del 2008 graban su segundo EP, el primero con la nueva formación, titulado "En Marte", y es lanzado como descarga gratuita en la web oficial del grupo y en Last.fm.

La respuesta que el grupo a recibido hasta el momento con este EP ha sido extraodinaria y ahora se preparan para su gira por españa, empezando en Barcelona el 4 de Abril.

Using the title of a song by Buenas Noches Rose as their band name, Miss Caffeina was born in Madrid, Spain at the start of 2006.

Influenced greatly by spanish indie pop bands like Deluxe, Los Planetas, Sidonie, Ivan Ferreiro, Pereza and Cristina Rosenvigne.

At the beginning of 2007 the band goes into the studio to record it's first EP "Destruccion Creativa" with the help of Erik Jiménez, drummer for Los Planetas.

In May of that same year the band gets a new drummer and bass player, which gives the band a huge boost in vitality and enthusiasm, as there is a perfect connexion among the 5 members that now make up the band. The members are: Alberto Jimenez (vocals); Sergio Sastre (guitar); Alvaro Navarro (guitar); Antonio Poza (bass); Roman Mendez (drums).

In January 2008, after spending the rest of 2007 playing around Madrid and a few other cities in Spain, giving people a taste for what was to come in the new Miss Caffeina era, the band goes into the studio to record their first EP with the new line up "En Marte" which was released on February 9th as a free download from the band's web site (www.misscaffeina.com) or from their Last.fm profile (www.last.fm/music/Miss+Caffeina).

The fan's response to this new EP has been great and the band is now getting ready for a tour around Spain, starting in Barcelona on April 4th.
