Hello everyone x!
Some news to start with:
I'm singing on the 28th of August in Llangollen with a jazz singer Charlie Jones feat. Spanish sax player Jose Carpentero.
Our last rehearsal was full of fun and we all are looking forward to this event!
For everyone who's got BBC Wales - little suprise, soon!
I'm working on fourth English song so I will let you know as soon as the song is ready.

Hello everyone,
My name is Monika Thomas and I am Polish.
I was born in Krakow, although I now live with my Welsh partner Paul in the UK. I have been composing music since the age of 16, it is my lifetime passion.
Like many people on here, my dream is to have my music recorded in a professional studio. I have recently released my debut CD album which is all in Polish and produced by myself. I am now writing songs in English.
It would be fantastic to find people who believe in me and who are keeping their fingers crossed for me at all times... I would like to thank from the bottom of my heart everyone who buys a part of this to help to make my dreams come true.

LULLABIES (lyrics by Paul Evans) is an optimistic song which means a lot to me. My songs are known for being sad and thought provoking, but this time I am singing about an important moment in life when you take a chance for happiness that comes your way and don't have regrets. I played piano in a very dynamic way to express the way chances can pass so quickly and how time can go so fast for people so deep in love.
I find not only lyrics and the way of singing important, but also the structure of the song as a whole. I always think about what I want to express in a song and how to show it to listeners in the best possible way. Although the song is not finished yet, the final version will not be too much different from what you can hear on here.

I know a Polish woman married to a Dutch guy.
She's a colleague of mine. She loves the cd too.

Monika Thomas is one person who has the drive and power to create music
with true honest feelings and emotions. The warmth of her vocals and
content of lyrics goes above and beyond the run of the mill music being
pumped out today. Her vocals are consistent with her unique quality. From
Monika's piano and vocals comes a talent the world is ready for. I had the honor of hearing the first version of "Bittersweet" which would stand on it's own but then where she took the song to it's final version was a quantum leap of professionalism. Monika has what it takes to bring the world some extraordinary music. In my communications with her I find her as warm and caring of relationships as she is with her music. She is "real". What you see is what you get. There is no pretentiousness. A lot of other performers I actually know are out for what they can get. Monika is out for what she can give. Your investment will not be wasted. She will take it to the top and keep going. This is a rare opportunity. To let it pass would be just plain wrong. She has the ability to appeal to a large cross section of audiences. This in itself should raise interest if you were to look at it as a mere numbers game. There is a core audience just waiting to find out about Monika Thomas. The sooner we as believers get her into the studio the sooner the world will know about Monika Thomas. I have shared with friends a few songs from Monika and there is always an instant connection and they want to hear more. Having worked in marketing research I know what one person's response means and how it relates to larger demographics. If it's only ten dollars to part with it will be the best spent money you have ever let loose of. Personally if I were single I would sell my house and put it all behind Monika and I wouldn't share with you guys. lol. Monika Thomas is going to make it. The question is are you going to be there too ? |
