I am emotionally, physically, and psychologically drained. I have been focusing on the music 14 hours a day, my friends have to call me to remind me to do daily routines, such as eating, or I will forget. This is not a complaint, but rather a description of my current state of being.
6 tracks now have drums and guitar. Scratch vocals are being tracked today, 6 more songs lie in wait as the bassist Bill Bussman lays down his bass tracks this upcoming Monday. He is a fantastic luthier and instrumentalist. Please visit his link for info.
A part of me wonders why I even write my updates since I do not hear from any believers other than Ray Baisden, Moonbaby and Cyberon.... yet I will read the forums before I am going to go into the studio, and my inspiration is burned when I read posts from Believers compaining, bitching and moaning because the 50K artists are not doing what they want. Well, news flash! I am doing all I can, and without any feedback from the people I am doing it for. No wonder some of the 50K artists don't even bother. Why work so hard to sell something for someone who is disappointed no matter what the outcome? Yes, I speak of some of my believers who have been very open and uncaring as to their delivery of unsatisfaction. To tell you the truth, the most pressure I feel is the stress of trying to make every one of my 532 believers happy, satisfied, and sent home with a product that will fatten their wallets and make THEM happy. Tracking, singing, playing the guitar, writing the songs, that is a BREEZE and Easy, stuff I have been doing professional in front of thousands of people since I was 7. I hate to say it... but it looks as though I am going to have to start focusing solely on this project and what I want from it. For those of you who actually read this, thank you... it really means a lot. I will also try and stay away from the forums, because quite honestly, I did not come all this way just to have my inspiration stolen by angry believers who don't communicate with me anyway.
On a lighter note, I am performing tonight online. My band Spellbox joined far before Mysti Mayhem joined. My goal is to help raise some funds and parts for the Spellbox CD. What is the difference between Mysti Mayhem and Spellbox? The same difference that there is between Nikki Sixx and Motley Crue, or Lovely Mongrol and Heart... Ozzy Osborne and Black Sabbath, Zak Wild and Black Label Society, both Mandocello and I have had our solo projects far before Spellbox was created. We saw no reason to halt the progress of our own careers, so kept all 3 in rotation. This subject has also raised anger and controversy in my believers. Regardless, I hope you will visit Spellbox online tonight at www.ustream.tv/mystimayhem The last CD release was 2005, so please help Spellbox get a new Album! Mandocello is not featured nor performing on my solo album, Diversity, simply because it is my solo career at stake, and not Spellbox's.

ALBUM ART IS FINISHED!!!!!! Thank you Ryan Tully, AKA FESTAE for the album cover, it is a perfect embodiment of the CD and its meaning.
After many hours, days, and Red Bulls, I am happy to announce that the drum tracks from Cactus Moser are COMPLETE!!! They sound fantastic! I have now officially finalized my acoustic guitar on 4 songs, their names which I will not reveal until closer to the release date. I found it amazing as always, how percussion can COMPLETELY change the groove of a song. Cactus has added so much life to these songs, and an ambiance that I could not have achieved without him and his talents. I have never been so excited to release an album in my entire life. It is moments like this, when I am trying to convey to you the true pride and surprise I harbor for this great sound, that I suddenly remember why I love life. THANK YOU, my believer, for reading this and allowing my spirit to be uplifted. I can only hope the music on this album brings you the same emotions.
Scheduled for May 14th, Tina Guo will perform on a song that means a lot to me. This piece is designed for her and I only, so far. This song is about being from a perspective where the character has messed up, and are not here anymore as a result of the actions they took, therefor causing regret- regret, to me, is one of the most dark energies that we can feel. It is most difficult to wash away the stain of regret, and the conclusion in the song is deep apologetic sincerity. I am excited to hear Tina's flare on this piece. Based in the key of E minor, this piece will make you want to sip on a glass of wine during a thunderstorm in a candlelit room.
By the by, I do happen to perform some of the songs from the album as teasers on my Friday online shows, so please join the room and listen in for some sneak peeks!
I have been reading a lot from the believers on the forums. I see that more songs are desired on the LECD. I will be doing this and I will also personally autograph and number the cd's. My attention to this has been drawn because I feel honored that I am able to record this. My goal is to do some PR and shows while in Europe in support of this album. So if you are near SAB HQ and would like to help me organize some shows, please privately message me and we can discuss this further.
As a 50K artist, unless you click my link, or specifically type sellaband.com/mystimayhem into your browser, you will not know I exist. I say this because it is very lonely, but the silence is good because I do have to focus. But I want you to know that my heart is enveloped by you and this cd. It is the most important album of my life and I am giving you my everything. Thank you for reading, and I will update more!
