BIOGRAPHY

Hi allll :) First I will have to thank you all of you for coming in to visit my profile! To tell you briefly about me, I was born in Philadelphia, but raised in Bangkok, Thailand. I'm currently studying in my 4th and final year at Carnegie Mellon University, and is a candidate for a Bachelor Degree majoring Music Technology and International Relations, with minors in Studio Arts, History of Arts, and Jazz Vocal Performance.

My band is named "Mellow Motif", Our members are Eugene Ang (pianist), Sam Chien (Cajon), Sarah Yunji Moon (Flute), Randolph Scott-McLaughlin II (Saxophone), and me (Vocal). We usually cover standards, mostly swings and latin, and we do other contemporaries as well.

Our performance experiences includes various coffee shops, pub/restaurants, private parties, semi-formals, anything pretty much. Before starting Mellow Motif, I've been active as a aolo singer/guitarist, and I still do occasional solo acts on my own. 

Our musical activities' have been increasing during the past year and we're expecting a lot more performances to come :), we are active on and off-campus in Pittsburgh area, and at various venues in Bangkok, Thailand, depending on the time of the year and availability.

• 2005 - Worked with GMM Grammy Co., Ltd, BKK, Thailand as a solo performing singer/songwriter under Greenlight label
• Summer 2007 - Collaboration with a highly-respected Musician/Producer Ton, Teerapong Sawaswongse (Spicy Disc Records), who had produced many radio-hit artists in BKK, for a series of jazz standards vocal tunes as a demo solely for submission purpose only.
• 2006 - Lead vocalist of the Carnegie Mellon Jazz Combo that participated in the annual Villanova University Jazz Festival, entered the Jazz Combo Competition in the name of Carnegie Mellon, and had obtained the Honorable Mention Award of the year.
• Summer 2007 - Worked at The Monk Studio, BKK, Thailand (2007-2008) as a voice actress for a 3D Animation TV show for a project for Walls Ice-cream named "Cyberion" Collaboratedwith David J. Smith and Suponwich "Juck" Somsaman (Rhythm and Hues, Co., Ltd), whose previous Hollywood productions include Happy Feet, Nutty Professor, Night at The Museum, just to name a few.
• September 2007, Natasha has been chosen one of the featured artists of D&M Artist Development Company. Her cover of "Fly Me To The Moon" has been chosen to be featured in their Upcoming Talent Page and to be in their compilation album "New Horizon", which is available for sale online and in selected record stores.
• 2003 - Previous band competition experiences include Nescafe Open Up Music Challenge '2003 and Yamaha Thailand Band Alert '2003 - Semi-Final and Final Round, respectively, as vocalist/guitarist and guitarist/songwriter.
