N’Kenge is much more than a singer. Believing in N’Kenge is not only a part in an accomplished vocal artist, it also provides a share in one of the most passionate and exceptional talents on Sellaband. The music she creates is genre-defying. Taking notes from the rock genre, she creates the driving tones of ‘Rock The House’, and with a keen eye for the modern R&B scene, she creates the effortlessly catchy ‘Goosebump Moment’. Aswell as her original compositions, N’Kenge puts her powerful mark upon such classics as ‘Defying Gravity’ and ‘I Will Survive’. The latter featuring an entirely new symphonic vibe, courtesy of the stunning orchestras she has worked with.

Knowing her surroundings is another positive aspect to N’Kenge. She realises that every part of Sellaband is a potential believer haven- repeatedly posting through the forums, putting her voice over the radio waves, and contacting new believers and artists, promoting them, and advertising herself constantly.  As a person, she is sweet and kind, addressing new members of the community and presenting an easy-going invite to check her out and potentially believe.

Even within her first moments on the site, N’Kenge captured the hearts of so many, gaining her first K in record time, and surely gaining more and more. As well as being invited to the Rio Grande festival, performing alongside 50K artist- Mysti Mayhem. Furthermore, she has garnered the belief of some of Sellabands most prominent believers- Sommersby, Dave The Esthameian and Talentcast’s Johan. Surely, a nice selection of recommendations from the aforementioned fellows, will only boost her shining reputation on Sellaband.

Nothing, it seems, can hold her back. Everything N’Kenge encounters makes her stronger, especially during quieter times. Instead of withdrawing and losing passion, she simply waits it out, and ensues new competitions and games to promote herself in the most innovative ways possible.

Grabbing at every available opportunity to broaden her horizons, she travels countries, and states often, to pursue her love of performing. Sometimes alone, sometimes with a grand orchestra. Another key aspect to N’Kenge’s success is her ability to master the attention of every member of a vast audience within enormous venues, but channel that same energy and enthusiasm into the smaller shows, when she plays to fewer people. Its this passion that shows what Sellaband is really about. An artist who can easily please the few, then please the thousands.

Escaping from the ties of genres, putting her name out there, presenting a radio show- how does she do it all? N’Kenge is an artist that is surely a rare gem. Someone that can truly and successfully do everything and anything she puts her mind to. To me almost unbelievable N'Kenge joined.

N'KENGE is an incredible artist.....she is the entire package...beautiful personality....voice very well mastered (for Gods sake she went to Julliard)......and the passion for music.   N'Kenge's voice blew me away!!! I mean WOW!!!

I am a true fan and hopefully one day a good friend.  God bless her talent!  LOVE HER!

N'Kenge has grown on me as Her music is not my usual stuff.  However, she always comes up with a strong melody and good words.

This lady is remarkably flexible. This trained voice fits any genre as if it's a pair of silk gloves: musical, power pop, r&b, you have to listen to her to believe it. Just do it.

N'kenge has a special talent in that she has a fabulous voice whatever she sings.  She also has a warm and loving personality which shines through her songs.
She has only been with SAB a short time but has made a strong iimpact.  Take time to listen to her, you'll be amazed.
