On The Fly is a group of 6 NYC based musicians who by twist of fate ended up working together on this monumental project. Joey Figueroa(vocals) and Charlie "NY Charlie" Contreras(bass) Hung up their rock and roll shoes a few years ago to pursue other interests, and thought it would be a good idea to give a music career one last spin. They recruited the help of Powerhouse session players Eli Menesez (lead/rhythm guitar) and Bruce Sokolovic (of Lily Vasquez fame) to cover the dual guitar barrage. The two guitarists were hand picked due to their legendary ability, and also their stark contrasts. This gives the material depth and emotion seldom seen in the music world. Rounding out the band is world class session drummer Eliazer Bombie Berrios, most noted for his work in Obie Bermudez and taxi amarillo(just to name a few). Last but not least on keys is Luis Fernandez, an up and coming innovative keyboard player that leaves the listener gripping for more!
