The Plan - in a nutshell

The target remains 50 000 $.

I will make an album with between 10 and 15 tracks.

For each PART purchased (1 part = 10 $), the believers will receive a physical copy of the album as well as a download. (!! no matter what the incentive box on the right says. It is "1 CD per part!", not "per believer". There is simply no option to select "1 CD per part".)

For believers with 50 parts or more, I will sell their CDs at gigs at a price higher than 10 $ (please email me for more details!).

Believers will receive a 50% share of the revenues from the CDs and downloads which are sold through SellaBand and sites SellaBand has a selling partnership with.

Extra incentives: The believers' CDs (both the ones sent to them and the ones sold at gigs) will be hand-numbered. All believers' names will be listed in the artwork of the CD. Backstage passes - this is something I don't think I have to mention - of course you are all welcome to come and chat after gigs, before 50 K and after. Free tickets to gigs: please contact me before the gig and I will put you on a guestlist whenever it is possible. Between reaching the target and releasing the album, I will update my Believers on my progress monthly, or more often if there is important news. Brief updates will be posted in my blog on SellaBand, and more detailed posts will be placed in my blog on MySpace. My Believers will receive, either via the mailing list or a special section of my website, downloads of rare tracks that I will record at least for five years after the release of the album: demos, acoustic tracks, live versions of songs - this will be also my way of keeping in touch with my Believers after the album release. Last but not least: every believer will receive a surprise along with the album. I want to keep it a surprise so I don't want to tell what it will be. Depending on how far the budget will stretch, it will be either in physical or downloadable form. It is something special that hasn't been done before, and I am sure you won't be disappointed!

NOTE: DO NOT LOOK AT THE INCENTIVES UNDER THE SONGS. THESE ARE NOT MY INCENTIVES. THESE ARE SELLABAND DEFAULT INCENTIVES. THEY WILL BE CHANGED WHEN SELLABAND OFFICIALLY ACCEPTS THIS PLAN. I EXPECT IT TO HAPPEN AT THE BEINNING OF FEBRUARY.

The Goal: to make a very good album which people will want to buy, market it as well as possible with the resources I have so that people find out about it and to work hard promoting and selling it so that the people who are helping me make it at least earn all the invested money back, and preferably make a noticeable amount of money on top of it.
