ARIEL ~ has started recording : ) We have started to lay down tracks!

The new fundraising target is $20,000. Here’s how we plan to spend it:-

• $18k for recording, mixing and mastering between 2 and 4 song, promotional budget for videos, PR and advertising
• $2,000 for success fee to Sellaband

In return for your loyal support we offer:-

1-4 parts – free downloads of tracks

5-9 parts – autographed copy of any first pressing of a CD/memory card containing the tracks AND free downloads of tracks

10-49 parts – sleeve credit on any first pressing of a CD/memory card containing the tracks AND autographed copy of any first pressing of a CD/memory card containing the tracks AND signed photo of Ariel AND free downloads of tracks

50+ parts – Entry into Ariel’s revenue share programme: 50% download sales revenue (pro rated) AND sleeve credit on any first pressing of a CD/memory card containing the tracks AND autographed copy of any first pressing of a CD/memory card containing the tracks AND signed photo of Ariel AND free downloads of tracks

(NB: “tracks” means music recorded using finance from Sellaband fundraising project begun on 4th August 2008. Also, we refer to “any first pressing of a CD/memory card” for this reason: we want to make the maximum possible commercial impact with the budget we have. If there proves to be no sustainable market for this music in CD format, we will produce memory cards, with artwork, to honour our offer to Believers with 5 or more parts)

Finally, we will be back on Sellaband in due course to fundraise for touring the UK and internationally, giving you the opportunity to share in revenues from merchandise and ticket sales as we promote the music to new fans everywhere.
