Given the lack of information on how the new owners plan to move forward with the site and the 2 week condition imposed in the T&C, I feel the situation is too uncertain to retain any money in this place, so sadly will be withdrawing it while I still can.

Don't know exactly how things are working myself, but would suggest you contact Sellaband regarding the change in budget. Not sure if this is a feature they are going to allow artists to do themselves or whether you have to contact them for it, so it might be best to try and be ahead of the curve as your blog post suggests to me you've got one of the better plans I've seen so far.
