A new target: a new plan.

I'm planning on releasing my new album in may 2010. This album can be released with the help of Sellaband. Therefor I've lowered my goal to $10,000 dollar. This album will be released with or without Sellaband help. The benefit of a Sellaband release wil be the pre-order prize. Without Sellaband support the CD will costs 15 euro's. With Sellaband you're able to pre-order the CD for only 10 dollars which stands for 7 euro's. Much cheaper.

Besides that a Sellaband supported release will feature a limited edition with a live CD. A registration of a performance organised specially for Sellaband believers. Every believer will be invited to visit the live recordings and will recieve a copy of the live CD. This means: 2 CD's for only 10 dollars!

My budget will be spread as follows:

Studio Costs 2900 euro 4170 dollar
Duplication Costs 1670 euro 2400 dollar
Dup Costs Live CD 929 euro 1335 dollar
Travel Costs etc. 760 euro 1095 dollar

For the shipping and handling costs I've got a personal budget of 2000 euro's (2875 dollar).

Every believer will recieve per part:
2 CD's. One official CD containing at least 12 tracks including the singles "The Odd One Out" and "She's Doin' It Again" (never before released on an album).
A live registration of the special Believer performance.

If I haven't reached my goal before the 30th of april 2010 I will submit a new plan. Because the CD will be released in may anyway. With or without Sellaband support.

The CD will feature at least 2 new singles which will be promoted in the Netherlands at diverse national radio stations.

Not every multi-part believer would like to recieve multiple CD's. Therefor I came up with this idea:

Every believer can put a certain amount of ordered CD's in storage with me.

For example: Believer A invested 15 parts. He can get 15 CD's but he decided to keep 5 and put 10 in storage.
Believer B puts 50 CD's in storage.
Believer C puts 20 CD's in storage.
Even as Believer D who puts also 20 CD's in storage.

Then we get this: 100 CD's in storage (100%)
Believer A has 10 CD's (10%)
Believer B has 50 CD's (50%)
Believer C has 20 CD's (20%)
Believer D has 20 CD's (20%)

I will sell all the CD's for 15 euro's (21,50 dollars) at my website or at performances. For every sold CD 10 dollar will be split to ratio to the believers who put their CD's in storage with me.

For example: In the first quarter I've sold 50 CD's. This means 500 dollar goes in the storage pot and will be devided to ratio:

Believer A gets 50 dollars (10% of 500)
Believer B gets 200 dollars (50% of 500)
Believer C gets 100 dollars (20% of 500)
Believer D gets 100 dollars (20% of 500)
