Biography

Griet used to compose and perform on her own, but since 12th April 2007 Margaretha Von Parma has become five-man-band: Griet, Arvid, Frank, Geert and Wouter. It had to be jazz-minded, lots of soul, and different . Our current line-up: vocals, Rhodes, Hammond, horns, drums and a bass. In a nutshell: Griet's voice at the centre, backed up by an able band.

Some people think it sounds like Norah Jones, others spot a hint of Everything but the girl, but if anything Margaretha Von Parma has its own sound.

Margaretha Von Parma is looking forward to playing lots more gigs!
