Hi, we're Recreation, a four piece band from Southampton/Portsmouth UK.

We've been lucky enough to tour with The Bluetones and have started 2008 with a new lineup playing shows with the likes of Frank Turner, Chris Helme and Mark Morriss who have all been amazing.

We're currently in the process of booking more gigs so keep your eyes open for new dates. We're trying to get as many in as possible before heading into the studio in the siummer with Justin at Vivid Studios (The Delays, Scarlet Soho) to record a new demo.

We're also looking to tour the UK and hopefully squeeze in some dates in Europe before the end of the year.

Thanks to Xan at Original 106. The session we recorded for the Original Showcase will go out this Sunday 18 May. We are on at about 19:15, the show will also be available to listen to online afterwards through the Original 106 website.

We played acoustic versions of two of our new songs, Jade Harvey and Open Up which have both been getting a great reception live since their inclusion in the set, we will make them available as soon as possible.

Looking forward to The Brook tonight with The Bluetones and Amsterdam. Looks to be almost sold out and should be a lot of fun. We've just confrimed a new date at the Talking Heads on Saturday 24 May and are in the process of finalising a few more to be added soon.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who has bought parts so far and keep you all posted on what we're up to.

Played Hamptons on Saturday and had a lot of fun, nice, high energy set so thanks to everyone who came down.

Tomorrow we are recording an interwiew and acoustic session for Xan Phillips at Original 106. Looking forward to that and will post details on here and out myspace of when the show will be aired.

Also really looking forward to the show with The Bluetones this Friday at The Brook.
