Beto and Leo are friends from childhood and play together for over ten years in several formats. The band they put together before Rockefellers was a cover band called Hendrix Tribute. During this particular period original songs started to come up and The Rockefellers was created in the beginning of 2005. In the following year the first cd entitled “King Size” was released. The brazilian cd´s tour enabled the band to play throughout 12 states, mainly in the most important indie festivals and cities, with great reviews. Recently the brazilian Rolling Stone magazine considered the band one of the top 10 bands in the indie brazilian scene. The band´s second album is ready to make things really cook and will be released through a completely independent way, once the fictious “Powerful Asses Records” actually means Beto and Leo living a bread line situation. The Rockefellers waits along with SellaBand, other partners and producers around the globe to launch and distribute their records anywhere, anyhow, by any means necessary.
