I am currently an INDY AWARD NOMINEE for the 2008 awards!!! So please vote for me, the information is in my blog.... ->

I am also currently recording my Acoustic Demo in the very same studio Genesis recorded and mixed their albums, with none less than Harry Rutherford, Mike Rutherfords son!!

OOohhh!! I am also writing and recording more with my own producer and friend, Will Weeks of Weeks Weeks Weeks Productions. Next session is this Wed the 12th, when i'll be recording two new tracks i've written only last week. They're wickid!!

I also work as a part time music teacher with primary school children!! My gosh it is hard work, but loads of fun.

I also have a bit of industry interest and am working my sock off to get noticed. Networking and gigging, to get my name around London. THis is my most recent update and i'll be changing it every two weeks, as thats how often something new and exciting should happen!!

Thanks you for your continued faith and support in my career, not everyone gets this much support, could you imagine if i was a bank clerk... i'd never have this, or a shop manager....yeh right!!

Rokhsan is a singer songwriter of many traits. She writes for her own personal enjoyment, for the enjoyment of others and to create general joy around the place. Other emotions are involved within her music, however the overall result targeted is joy/happiness.

She is in an indie-pop band called 'Little Things', which has given her many unforgettable experiences, however Rokhsan is also building on her solo career to further herself in the industry. So far this has brought some promising events, such as the FMI Festival in Brazil and she has recently played at the notorious 'Zwoel' evening in Amsterdam.

Rokhsan has had one her more bubbly songs (Bubble Bath) featured on the Aretha Franklin CD on the Sunday Express, of which 2.1 million copies were sold.

With her band 'Little Things' she has a single being released, a double A side 7" record, available on iTunes from the 26th November 2007.

Rokhsan has been writing her own material since she discovered love. As cliche as it may sound, it starts many of us off on our musical journies. So, love popped into her tiny mind and she wrote a song to express her feeling, along with this came that complete appreciation and pride of her parents who willed her to continue. She thought it was a good idea and so began a series of songs about numerous things, half of them forgotten, the other completed.

To this day she has studied music at both Thames Valley Uni (HND) and the Academy of Contemporary Music (BaHons), studied Piano, Guitar and Vocals and is a highly competant songwriter.

Her ambitions include spreading her musical love around the world through record sales and touring.

Rokhsan has recently moved to London and has begun creating an impression amongst the acoustic music scene. With many gigs booked, you have every opportunity to go see her live!
