My name is Sami. I call the Pacific Northwest my home. I used to sing for a band called Broken Stiletto but we've all gone in separate directions with our musical careers. I still want to write and sing. I love it!
I draw influence from all sorts of genres. Everything from Portishead to Billy Idol. The Cranberries to The Cure. Anything with a beat!

I'm finally in the triple digits! Thanks to all of you for your support! I am working on a couple new tracks but it might be a while before I can finish them and get them up here. Things have been crazy at work and I'm planning on moving most likely at the end of August. Fear not, I'm still extremely dedicated to my music! I'm hoping to get up to $500 soon!

I am overwhelmed by the positive response I've gotten from SAB! I initially had planed to merely 'test the waters' of SAB but I've already garnered a few believers who have been remarkably helpful with giving me advice on how to achieve success with SAB. I'm hurriedly putting together a few more demos and hopefully I'll do some tracking this weekend with new songs up by next week!

Sami is a phenomenal talent both creatively and vocally. Her music transcends today's typical 'pigeon-holed" genres as she writes the songs that are true to her while still making the connection with the listener. Definitely believe in this one. She'll make a record that is what so many records today are not. Real. |
