Artists and Believers alike all realize that the global economic crisis is affecting levels of investment on Sellaband. As with most current leading Sellaband artists, over the last few months Sandbox have suffered consistent parts withdrawals. In true Sellaband community & spirit all parts removals have been explained promptly by the believers ALL stating that personal financial pressure was the reason and that they still love Sandbox’s music and will return when finances permit.

In true Sandbox style, when the chips are down it only inspires us to push even harder, further & faster. We are excited to announce that we will not be reducing our efforts on Sellaband, quite the opposite. In fact, some of our key investors have pointed out that Sandbox have been one of the most pro-active and prolific artists ever seen on Sellaband regarding the amount of high quality material specifically produced for a Sellaband 50k CD.

To refresh your memory, over the last 12 months Sandbox have;

- Written & recorded 14 songs for Sellaband
- Released 8 songs on and for Sellaband
- Produced & recorded 3 collaboration tracks with other Sellaband artists
- Produced & released 8 music videos specifically for Sellaband
- Sent Believers over 60 Sandbox LE Music Video DVD’s
- Sent over 100 Sandbox LE CD’s to Believers
- Sent over 300 MP3’s to Believers
- Created extensive Photography & Artwork
- Built a world class website
- Dedicated a collective total of over 2,000 hours networking & promoting on Sellaband
- Given away 3 signed guitars at a value of over US$2000.00
- Spent over US$35,000.00 of our own money to make all this happen.

OK, so what does all this mean from Sandbox’s perspective?

Sandbox have proven that we have everything it takes to make a world class CD and the means, abilities, and skill sets to effectively promote and sell our CD when it is released resulting in a substantial ROI for investors. It also shows that we have put our own money where our mouth is and to this end we are happy to announce the following…….

Over the next few weeks you will see a drastic removal of parts from the Sandbox profile. This is not a negative thing so do not be concerned when you see this happen and it WILL happen.

Sandbox, together with certain Believers, think it prudent and the best decision for the future of Sandbox on Sellaband, to utilise a portion of our parts to fund a professional EP to market, sell & promote on Sellaband and globally via multi media marketing. We believe that a short term loss of parts and position in the charts will result in a more rapid & sustainable resurgence to 50k when we return with a true example of what we are capable of.

Sandbox have always professed that we are the best investment Sellaband has ever seen and with the economic slow down impacting so hard on many countries we believe that to sit by and watch more parts trickle away is definitely not the Sandbox way to do things. If the parts are going to continue to disappear it will be on OUR terms.

In summary, this effort will be made possible with the assistance of some of our believers who have offered to help us in this endeavour. Due to this fact these believers will be reducing their parts in Sandbox but will continue to support us here on Sellaband as they always have until we reach 50k.

You will probably see Sandbox slip back to page 2 for a period and then we will return with our new EP in hand and release a hell bent fast track progression to 50k. Sandbox’s profits from EP sales will be re-invested into the Sandbox profile to further expedite our surge to 50k.

We see this objective as a small step backwards in parts and charts to ensure a consistent and timely rise to our 50k goal.
