Thank you so much to everyone who attended our show at the IndigO2 (at the O2 Arena) here in London. It is a big place and we were blown away by the numbers of people who took time to come down and support us. We're back in the reheasal studios now, working on how to bring more of our songs to the live stage and are also working on the videos for the next songs on the album.
UPDATE : OFFICIAL SELLABAND ALBUM RELEASED ON: 9th August
Sadly you can no longer buy parts in us as we've reached the $50,000 target - and we have already started recording our album. To everyone who bought parts, whether it was 1 or 180: thank you so much for getting us here! We've left a video message for you which you can see by clicking the "Special message from Second Person" link just above this window.

The band are currently in the studio writing their second album, which should be finished in mid to late June of this year. 11th, 12th, 13th May
Writing this very belatedly as was far too busy playing to write anything down! The first few days it was so exciting to watch Alvaro play the drum parts and experiment with new sounds, but later on in the week we concentrated on piano and keys, which meant that it was up to me (Julia, that is) to play rather than type on Mark's laptop.
It was nerve-wracking at first but I adored every second of it. We laid down all kinds of different takes for each song and it was such a pleasure to play such a beautiful piano - I'd forgotten what a difference it makes to the sound, the song, and the playing itself. I also got to play the vibraphone, the Hammond organ, and the Wurlitzer, and generally felt like a hyperactive five-year old in a toyshop.
Now the songs are being edited - and we will keep you posted on the next steps...

The drums are nearly done for all five tracks, putting us nicely on schedule.

We have had a number of emails asking about the gig this Tuesday. We can confirm that the show will begin at 8.30, there will be an interval (why not?) and also lots of time after the show for drinking in the main bar. In case you don't have the address:

Tables for the night are completely booked out. Even if you weren't able to get a table there are likely to be free spaces on the ones we booked for our friends and there is plenty of room in the venue to stand.
