Seiphian is a Symphonic metal band from Nijmegen (NL) and started as a project of Joop and Fon at the end of 2006. In October 2007 Seiphian, as a complete band, recorded their first demo and did some shows in and outside the region. At the end of 2007 Seiphian finilised their line-up with Inger, the female vocalist the band needed.

The demo "Passage Burden" was, in one day, recorded at studio Bigmouth after 6 months of preparations. The audience gave a positive response on the 3 tracks and the following shows were well visited.

After a year of working on new material, another demo will be recorded at New Road studios in Februari 2009. The 4 songs on the Cdm are a departure from the old material in style and in quality.

Seiphian's new sound underlines the growth the band has gone through in the time they spent both rehearsing and performing in 2008. This new demo is yet to be released in September of this year.

Seiphian is on an ever continuing journey of broadening her horizon and bringing her music to you!
