Seventh Sin, from the start in 2003 until now:
Since the start of Seventh Sin in 2003 a number of people joined and
left the band, until we had found a good group of musicians to work with.
We've started our live performances in December of 2005. From then on,
we've shared the stage with Kamelot, Leaves' Eyes, Autumn and Delain (amongst others), recorded a 5-track mini-CD called "Darkest Of All Dreams" which was received very well. According to some people it sounds like Nevermore, After Forever, Within Temptation and Lacuna Coil.
Seventh sin will be back on stage again, new gigs added! Check out the blog section to see whats going on!!!!!!

May 25th
New song added "My honour". More songs will be added soon! In november/december we will be recording a full length album. The plans to make a videoclip are postponed. This are some songs that will be recorded:
- Hysteria
- Bitter taste of victory
- Just an ordanary day(check you tube for video!!!)
- The screams
March 14th
More gigs added. At the 19th of april we will perform at the emergenza contest second round in Maastricht. We really need the support here, email sjors@seventhsin.nl for ticket reduction! The 25th of april we'll be the opening band for stream of Passion in Sittard Fenix. The postponed gig with epica at perron 55 in venlo has been moved to the 25 of may. See you all on the road!!
February 4th
Seventh sin studio and legal download
Seventh sin will be recording 3 more tracks for promotion. Probably hysteria and alone again, both new songs. Also the ballad just an ordanary day will be recorded. The other songs can be heared here our just visit the legal download page.

Seventh sin gig postponed
The gig with epica wich was planned for january 20th was cancelled. This gig will now take place on 25th of May. In february and march we will perform some gigs with wings of fury and beyond sanity. December 24th
Seventh sin gigs added
On the 11th of januari seventh sin wil play at the emergenza contest in Maastricht. http://www.emergenza.net/document/shows/schedule.asp?dett=yes&res=235&sched=new.This is a contest for bands, we're looking forward at your support! The tickets are available for 8,50 euro and can be ordered here sjors@seventhsin.nl. On the 13th of januari seventhsin will be the opening act for Asrai, this will take place in 013 Tilburg.
November 29th
Seventh sin gigs added
Seventh sin will be back on the road, at december 8th Monique and Vincent will perform a specially aranged acoustic set at the museumnacht in Roermond. The set will contain seventh sin songs and covers. At januari 20th 2008 seventh sin will perform together with dutch gothic metal band EPICA. This gig will be in Venlo at perron 55. On this evening we can present you several new songs, like hysteria, a new power metal song! We're looking forward to see you all!!!!
September 22th
Several new songs
In the past weeks we have made some new songs, one of them is a ballad. The other one is a more up-tempo song. Somewhere between the end of 2007 en the beginning of 2008 we will be on the road again for some shows.

Mixing finished!!
We have heard the first mix of our recording. The mix sounds great. Now the technicians will start mastering. Several masters will be made. We expect this to be done by the end of next week. Then we can put some material online.
July 3rd
Recordings finished
We have been in the studio last weekend, to record 3 of our new songs, mainly to put them on Sellaband, so you can hear what we've been up to in the last few months. The recordings have been very successfully. This week and the next the technicians will work on the mix and we hope we will be able to put the songs online by the end of the month.
June 21st
Recording date set!
We have set a date when we will make some recordings of 3 of our latest songs, so you can hear what we have been working on lately. We will record The Screams, The Well and My Honor in the weekend of June 30st. As soon as the recordings have been mixed and mastered, we will put them online
June 21th
Again a new song finished and one almost finished!
We don't have any gigs planned because we are writing some new material. And again we have finished a new song called Woman in arms it is a song about the life of Jeanne d'Arc. This again is an exciting song for us, because we wanted to make the music correspond with the lyrics and I think we did a great job. We will be working with a number of sound effects to create the right atmosphere for the song.
Today we started writing a new song called Just an ordinary day. This lyrics of this song are based on the shooting near an elementary school in the Netherlands today, where a dad was shot through the head while bringing his 6 year old son to school. This song isn’t finished yet, but we will work on it next week.
Two new songs finished!
We have finished two new songs. In the next few weeks we hope to make
some rehearsal recordings so we can put them online for you to listen to.
Both of the songs are quite different from what we've been doing until now.
The first one, The Well, has some wave gothic influences and Monique has the opportunity to experiment with her voice.
The second one, The Screams, has a lot of trash influences, and takes
the band to a higher level.
We've played both of the songs at our last gig, and they were received
very well!

Female fronted Goth-Rock/Metal. Apart from the usual comparisons (After Forever, Within Temptation), the (female) vocal lines on Beautiful Eternal (from their album Darkest Of All Dreams) somehow remind me of The Gathering. For more info: www.seventhsin.nl. |

This band rocks! I saw them live yesterday and despite lots of technical trouble (this place is usually crowded with R&B-people) a good show. Challenge for this band is to build up to a full hour show that surprises. Looking forward to their CD! |
